Green Valley Gators (Henderson, NV) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Southeast Career Tech Roadrunners (Las Vegas, NV), 53-46 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Green Valley upgrades its record to 3-12 on the campaign. The Gators travel to Boulder City (Boulder City, NV) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 6-5. Boulder City won 47-23 in their recent non-league bout against Pinecrest Academy Cadence (Henderson, NV)

Next up, the Roadrunners play the Valley Vikings (Las Vegas, NV) in a 4A Sky bout, on Thursday, January 4. Southeast Career Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Vikings come into the bout with a 8-3 record after their 33-32 non-league loss to Legacy (North Las Vegas, NV).
