The Cougars now possess a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Quitman for a 2A Region 2 battle on Friday, January 5. Izard County will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 55-24 non-league win over Lonoke (Lonoke, AR). The Bulldogs record now stands at 16-3.
The Rebels now hold a 14-4 record. They play next when they travel to Westside for a non-league outing on Tuesday, January 2. Riverside will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 69-44 non-league loss to Greene County Tech (Paragould, AR). The Warriors record now stands at 12-5.
