Kennedy Knights (Paterson, NJ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Trenton Central Tornadoes (Trenton, NJ), 53-29 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Kennedy upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Knights host Bergen Tech (Hackensack, NJ) to play the Knights in a Big North - Liberty bout on Monday, January 1. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 1-5. Bergen Tech lost 44-24 in their recent non-league bout against North Arlington (North Arlington, NJ)
Next up, the Tornadoes play the West Windsor-Plainsboro North Knights (Plainsboro, NJ) in a Colonial Valley - Colonial bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Trenton Central will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 50-33 non-league win over South Hunterdon (Lambertville, NJ).
