The Lake City Tigers (Lake City, MN) basketball knocked off the host Lewiston-Altura Cardinals (Lewiston, MN), 58-40 in Saturday's league test.
The Tigers (7-6) will now prepare for their test against Pine Island (Pine Island, MN). The Panthers go into the AA Section 1 test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, Pine Island notched a victory over Cannon Falls (Cannon Falls, MN), 55-37, in a league test.
The Cardinals now own a 3-8 record. They play next when they host Cotter for a non-league test on Friday, January 5. Lewiston-Altura will encounter a Ramblers squad coming off a 66-48 non-league win over Prairie du Chien (Prairie du Chien, WI). The Ramblers record now stands at 7-2.
