Texas High School Basketball - Victory Christian Academy knocked off by Lake Country Christian

The Lake Country Christian Eagles basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Victory Christian Academy Patriots to 48 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Eagles now sport a 18-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Coram Deo Academy for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 2. Lake Country Christian will battle a Lions team coming off a 45-33 non-league win over Trinity Christian (Addison, TX). The Lions record now stands at 15-6.

The Patriots (14-3) will now prepare for their contest against St. Paul's Prep (Arlington, TX). The Lions enter the TCAF District 2 contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, St. Paul's Prep was defeated by Wylie Prep Academy (Wylie, TX), 49-41, in a non-league contest.
