In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Wayzata Trojans basketball team scored a good 71-59 triumph over the Lakeville North Panthers.
In their next game, the Trojans meet the Anoka Tornadoes (Anoka, MN) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, January 3. Wayzata will attempt to move on its 8-2 season record. The Tornadoes enter the match with a 7-3 record after their 51-42 non-league win over Buffalo (Buffalo, MN).
With the defeat, Lakeville North moves to 6-3 on the year. The Panthers travel to Owatonna (Owatonna, MN) to meet the Huskies in a AAAA Section 1 match on Saturday, January 6. The Huskies enter the match with a record of 4-6.
