Texas High School Basketball - North Crowley can't hold off Lubbock-Cooper

The Lubbock-Cooper Pirates basketball team scored 51 points and restricted the host North Crowley Panthers to 48 in the Pirates non-league victory on Saturday.
The Pirates now sport a 15-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Coronado for a 5A Region I District 4 contest on Tuesday, January 2. Lubbock-Cooper will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 58-45 non-league loss to Estacado (Lubbock, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-13.
The Panthers (11-6) will now prepare for their contest against Trinity (Euless, TX). The Trojans come into the 6A Region I District 3 contest with a 7-8 record. In their last contest, Trinity was nudged by Boswell (Fort Worth, TX), 69-31, in a league contest.
