The Pulaski Academy Bruins (Little Rock, AR) basketball nipped the host Magnolia Panthers (Magnolia, AR), 52-48 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Bruins (8-7) will now prepare for their test against Hall (Little Rock, AR). The Warriors go into the 4A Region 5 test with a 2-7 record. In their last test, Hall got by Robinson (Little Rock, AR), 65-34, in a league test.
The Panthers now own a 9-6 record. They play next when they host Arkadelphia for a 4A Region 7 test on Tuesday, January 2. Magnolia will encounter a Badgers squad coming off a 61-36 non-league loss to Bergman (Bergman, AR). The Badgers record now stands at 9-3.
