With the victory, Seminary improves its record to 7-11 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Magee (Magee, MS) to confront the Trojans in a 3A Region 6 challenge on Friday, January 5. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 6-11.

Next up, the Tigers confront the Kemper County Wildcats (DeKalb, MS) in a 3A Region 5 challenge, on Friday, January 5. McLaurin will attempt to improve on its 2-13 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 39-32 non-league win over Southeast Lauderdale (Meridian, MS).
