Maryland High School Basketball - Mercy winner over New Town

The Mercy Magic (Baltimore, MD) basketball felled the visiting New Town (Owings Mills, MD), 48-28 in Saturday's non-league test.
With the win, Mercy upgrades its record to 6-3 on the season. The Magic travel to St. Mary's (Annapolis, MD) to clash with the Saints in a IAAM A bout on Friday, January 5. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 11-5. St. Mary's won 64-43 in their recent non-league bout against Linganore (Frederick, MD)
Next up, the clash with the Carver A&T Wildcats (Towson, MD) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 3. New Town will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 39-28 non-league win over Eastern Tech (Baltimore, MD).
