South Brunswick Vikings (Monmouth Junction, NJ) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Ridge Red Devil (Basking Ridge, NJ), 61-50 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, South Brunswick upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Vikings host North Brunswick (North Brunswick, NJ) to play the North Brunswick Raiders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 2. The North Brunswick Raiders come into the bout with a record of 0-4. North Brunswick lost 37-35 in their recent non-league bout against Rahway (Rahway, NJ)
Next up, the Red Devil play the Bridgewater-Raritan Panthers (Bridgewater, NJ) in a Skyland - Raritan bout, on Thursday, January 4. Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 1-6 record after their 42-37 league loss to Montgomery (Skillman, NJ).
