In Saturday's non-league outing, the West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Salisbury Hornets (Salisbury, NC), by a count of 74-46.

The Falcons (9-1) will now prepare for their outing against Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Vikings go into the 3A South Piedmont outing with a 6-4 record.

The Hornets now hold a 7-4 record. They play next when they host South Davidson for a 1A/2A Central Carolina outing on Wednesday, January 3. Salisbury will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 46-25 non-league loss to Ledford (Thomasville, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-11.
