With the win, Yeshiva University of Los Angeles (YULA) upgrades its record to 14-7 on the season. The Panthers host Shalhevet (Los Angeles, CA) to clash with the Firehawks in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 3. The Firehawks go into the bout with a record of 14-5. Shalhevet lost 46-41 in their recent league bout against Burroughs (Burbank, CA)

Next up, the Cardinals clash with the Carpinteria Warriors (Carpinteria, CA) in a Citrus Coast bout, on Friday, January 5. Santa Paula will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 6-5 record after their 53-36 non-league loss to Santa Maria (Santa Maria, CA).
