The Shadow Mountain Matadors basketball team (Phoenix, AZ), was overwhelmed 44-16 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Sonoma Valley Dragons (Sonoma, CA)

The Dragons now possess a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Petaluma for a Vine Valley battle on Wednesday, January 3. Sonoma Valley will confront a Trojans team coming off a 42-32 non-league loss to Anderson (Anderson, CA). The Trojans record now stands at 6-8.

The Matadors (1-9) will now prepare for their battle against Thunderbird (Phoenix, AZ). The Titans come into the 4A Skyline battle with a 6-5 record.
