New York High School Basketball - St. Edmund Prep knocked off by St. Dominic

The St. Dominic Bayhawks basketball team scored 51 points and held the visiting St. Edmund Prep Eagles to 35 in the Bayhawks non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Bayhawks now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Holy Trinity for a Catholic - Long Island contest on Tuesday, January 9.

The Eagles (4-7) will now prepare for their contest against Maria Regina (Hartsdale, NY). The Tigers enter the Catholic - Brooklyn/Queens II contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Maria Regina was outscored by Notre Dame Academy (Staten Island, NY), 62-46, in a league contest.
