California High School Basketball - Schurr can't hold off Wilson

December 30, 2023: Montebello, CA 90640

The Wilson Mules basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Schurr Spartans to 49 in the Mules non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Mules now sport a 12-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lincoln for a contest on Wednesday, January 10. Wilson will battle a Tigers team coming off a 77-21 league loss to Marshall (Los Angeles, CA). The Tigers record now stands at 2-5.

The Spartans (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against West Covina (West Covina, CA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 8-7 record. In their last contest, West Covina was nudged by Glendale (Glendale, CA), 65-22, in a non-league contest.
