With the victory, Unioto upgrades its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Shermans host Westfall (Williamsport, OH) to play the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 5. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Blue Lions play the Gallia Academy Blue Devils (Gallipolis, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Washington will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
