In their next game, the Pirates encounter the Merryville Panthers (Merryville, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 2. Kaplan will attempt to improve on its 4-22 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 4-13 record after their 55-53 non-league loss to Block (Jonesville, LA).
