In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Colfax Vikings basketball team scored a good 72-60 win over the Augusta Beavers.
The Vikings (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Turtle Lake (Turtle Lake, WI). The Lakers come into the non-league contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Turtle Lake defeated Mille Lacs co-op [Isle/Onamia] (Isle, MN), 76-43, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Beavers battle the Blair-Taylor Wildcats (Blair, WI) in a Dairyland - Large contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Augusta will attempt to better on its 1-7 season record.
