The Somerset Academy Losee Lions (North Las Vegas, NV) basketball toppled the host Barren County Trojans (Glasgow, KY), 54-46 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Lions now possess a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Cesar Chavez for a non-league bout on Thursday, January 2. Somerset Academy Losee will play a Champions team coming off a 52-49 non-league win over Gilbert (Gilbert, AZ). The Champions record now stands at 5-5.
With the loss, Barren County falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The Trojans host Warren East (Bowling Green, KY) to play the Raiders in a District 15 bout on Friday, January 3. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Warren East lost 84-63 in their recent non-league bout against Sequoyah (Canton, GA)
