The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the St. Pius X Catholic Golden Lions (Atlanta, GA) and the visiting Bishop Kenny Crusaders (Jacksonville, FL), observed St. Pius X Catholic's basketball team knock off Bishop Kenny by a score of 75-55.

The Golden Lions (11-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Northview (Johns Creek, GA). The Titans come into the AAAA Region 5 challenge with a 2-13 record. In their last challenge, Northview dropped by Johns Creek (Johns Creek, GA), 86-53, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Crusaders encounter the Westside Wolverines (Jacksonville, FL) in a 4A District 4 challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Bishop Kenny will attempt to improve on its 8-7 season record.
