California High School Basketball - Oakland Military Institute trounced by Branham

Branham Bruins (San Jose, CA) supporters left the game happy Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Oakland Military Institute Grizzlies (Oakland, CA), 77-27 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Branham advances its record to 5-5 on the year. The Bruins host Willow Glen (San Jose, CA) to meet the Rams in a Blossom Valley - Mt. Hamilton match on Friday, January 3. The Rams enter the match with a record of 3-5. Willow Glen lost 60-51 in their recent non-league match against Elk Grove (Elk Grove, CA)

The Grizzlies now own a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Envision Academy for a non-league match on Monday, January 6. Oakland Military Institute will meet a squad coming off a 81-48 non-league loss to James Logan (Union City, CA). The record now stands at 6-9.
