The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Brookfield Warriors (Brookfield, OH) and the host Sharpsville Blue Devils (Sharpsville, PA), observed Brookfield's basketball team knock off Sharpsville by a score of 54-41.

The Warriors (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against West Middlesex (West Middlesex, PA). The Big Reds come into the non-league challenge with a 1-5 record.

In their next game, the Blue Devils encounter the Saegertown Panthers (Saegertown, PA) in a District 10 Region 2 challenge, on Friday, January 3. Sharpsville will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 75-59 league loss to Rocky Grove (Franklin, PA).
