In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Caddo Hills Indians basketball team scored a good 62-49 triumph over the Mount Ida Lions.
The Indians (13-5) will now prepare for their contest against Horatio (Horatio, AR). The Lions go into the 2A Region 7 contest with a 1-9 record. In their last contest, Horatio was topped by Nashville (Nashville, AR), 63-19, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Lions battle the Mineral Springs Hornets (Mineral Springs, AR) in a 1A Region 7 contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Mount Ida will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Hornets go into the contest with a 4-5 record after their 75-51 league loss to Kirby (Kirby, AR).
