The Central Texas Christian Lions basketball team scored 56 points and limited the host Concordia Cardinals to 19 in the Lions non-league triumph on Monday.

The Lions now have a 8-2 record. They play next when they host Lutheran for a TAPPS 3A District 4 game on Saturday, January 4. Central Texas Christian will confront a Mustangs team coming off a 38-22 non-league loss to Blanco (Blanco, TX). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-12.

With the loss, Concordia falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Brazos Christian (Bryan, TX) to confront the Eagles in a TAPPS 4A District 4 game on Friday, January 3. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 11-9.
