In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Ezell-Harding Christian Eagles basketball team scored a close 59-53 triumph over the Christ Presbyterian Academy Lions.
The Eagles (15-0) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Juliet Christian Academy (Mt. Juliet, TN). The Saints go into the Division II-A Middle District 4 contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Mount Juliet Christian Academy was tipped by Friendship Christian (Lebanon, TN), 81-18, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Lions battle the Lipscomb Academy Mustangs (Nashville, TN) in a Division II-AA Middle contest, on Friday, January 3. Christ Presbyterian Academy will attempt to better on its 6-6 season record. The Mustangs go into the contest with a 11-2 record after their 68-63 non-league win over West (Knoxville, TN).
