The Taft Eagles were victorious over the visiting College Prep of America Thunder basketball squad by a final score of 59-41 in Monday's non-league outing.

Next, the Eagles face the Simeon Wolverines (Chicago, IL) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, January 7. Taft will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Wolverines enter the outing with a 8-4 record after their 65-49 non-league win over Curie (Chicago, IL).

The Thunder (3-10) will now prepare for their outing against Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family (Downers Grove, IL). The enter the non-league outing with a 1-4 record.
