Georgia High School Basketball - Murphy victorious over Coosa

In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Murphy Bulldogs basketball team scored a good 59-47 triumph over the Coosa Eagles.

The Bulldogs (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Highlands (Highlands, NC). The Highlanders go into the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Highlands was topped by Andrews (Andrews, NC), 71-28, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Pepperell Dragons (Lindale, GA) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 4. Coosa will attempt to better on its 6-7 season record. The Dragons go into the contest with a 1-12 record after their 74-59 non-league loss to Chattooga (Summerville, GA).
