In Monday's non-league test, the Corsica/Stickney Jaguars (Corsica, SD) basketball squad got by the host Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] Battlers (Gettysburg, SD), by a score of 68-65.

Next, the Jaguars clash with the Canistota Hawks (Canistota, SD) in a non-league test, on Friday, January 3. Corsica/Stickney will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Hawks come into the test with a 0-3 record after their 48-31 non-league loss to Gayville-Volin (Gayville, SD).

The Battlers (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Hitchcock-Tulare (Tulare, SD). The Patriots come into the non-league test with a 1-2 record. In their last test, Hitchcock-Tulare held off Langford (Langford, SD), 52-40, in a league test.
