In Monday's non-league contest, the host South Beauregard Knights basketball team scored a close 46-39 triumph over the DeRidder Dragons.
The Knights (1-10) will now prepare for their contest against Bell City (Bell City, LA). The Bruins go into the non-league contest with a 6-12 record. In their last contest, Bell City was tipped by Welsh (Welsh, LA), 64-60, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Dragons battle the Singer Hornets (Singer, LA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 3. DeRidder will attempt to better on its 2-11 season record. The Hornets go into the contest with a 10-8 record after their 67-50 non-league loss to Stanley (Logansport, LA).
