Texas High School Basketball - Spearman overwhelmed by Farwell

In Monday's non-league test, the Farwell Steers (Farwell, TX) basketball squad trounced the visiting Spearman Lynx (Spearman, TX), by a final score of 69-37.

Next, the Steers clash with the Canadian Wildcats (Canadian, TX) in a non-league test, on Friday, January 3. Farwell will attempt to upgrade on its 15-3 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 8-6 record after their 42-37 non-league loss to Dumas (Dumas, TX).

The Lynx (15-4) will now prepare for their test against West Texas (Stinnett, TX). The Comanches come into the 2A Region I District 1 test with a 13-2 record. In their last test, West Texas bounced Claude (Claude, TX), 67-33, in a non-league test.
