Ohio High School Basketball - Firelands overwhelms Vermilion

The Firelands Falcons basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting Vermilion Sailors to 34 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Monday.

The Falcons now have a 7-2 record. They play next when they host Cloverleaf for a non-league game on Friday, January 3. Firelands will confront a Colts team coming off a 74-58 non-league win over Medina Christian Academy (Medina, OH). The Colts record now stands at 6-3.

With the loss, Vermilion falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Sailors host Port Clinton (Port Clinton, OH) to confront the Redskins in a Sandusky Bay - Bay game on Friday, January 3. The Redskins go into the game with a record of 4-5. Port Clinton won 52-46 in their recent league game against Willard (Willard, OH)
