The Spartans (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Shepherd Hill Regional (Dudley, MA). The Rams come into the non-league challenge with a 3-2 record. In their last challenge, Shepherd Hill Regional prevailed over Grafton (Grafton, MA), 38-33, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Red Raiders encounter the Wachusett Regional Mountaineers (Holden, MA) in a Midland-Wachusett A challenge, on Friday, January 3. Fitchburg will attempt to improve on its 0-5 season record.
