Michigan High School Basketball - Groves nips River Rouge

In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Groves Falcons basketball team scored a close 67-65 win over the River Rouge Panthers.
The Falcons (7-0) will now prepare for their contest against Avondale (Auburn Hills, MI). The Yellowjackets come into the Oakland - Red contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Avondale was tipped by King (Detroit, MI), 51-41, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Chelsea Bulldogs (Chelsea, MI) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 3. River Rouge will attempt to better on its 7-1 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 4-3 record after their 56-35 non-league win over Loyola (Detroit, MI).
