Northside Vikings (Lafayette, LA) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Holy Savior Menard Eagles (Alexandria, LA), 69-50 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Northside upgrades its record to 13-3 on the year. The Vikings travel to Lafayette (Lafayette, LA) to face the Lions in a non-league match on Friday, January 3. The Lions enter the match with a record of 10-2. Lafayette lost 56-50 in their recent non-league match against A.J. Ellender (Houma, LA)

The Eagles now sport a 4-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ouachita Christian for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 31. Holy Savior Menard will battle a Eagles team coming off a 51-48 non-league win over Rapides (Lecompte, LA). The Eagles record now stands at 10-1.
