California High School Basketball - Hoover holds off Temple City

The Hoover Tornados basketball team scored 46 points and limited the host Temple City Rams to 43 in the Tornados non-league triumph on Monday.

The Tornados now possess a 9-5 record. They play next when they host Azusa for a non-league game on Friday, January 3. Hoover will confront a Aztecs team coming off a 72-69 non-league win over Southlands Christian (Rowland Heights, CA). The Aztecs record now stands at 7-2.

With the loss, Temple City falls to 8-9 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Monrovia (Monrovia, CA) to confront the Wildcats in a Rio Hondo game on Wednesday, January 8. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 7-10.
