Georgia High School Basketball - LaGrange knocks off M.L. King

The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the LaGrange Grangers (LaGrange, GA) and the visiting M.L. King Lions (Lithonia, GA), observed LaGrange's basketball team overcome M.L. King by a margin of 57-47.
The Grangers (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Upson-Lee (Thomaston, GA). The Knights come into the AAA Region 2 challenge with a 8-1 record. In their last challenge, Upson-Lee defeated Taylor County (Butler, GA), 67-57, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Lions battle the McNair Mustangs (Atlanta, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 3. M.L. King will attempt to better on its 3-11 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 2-10 record after their 58-56 non-league loss to Carver (Atlanta, GA).
