In Monday's non-league test, the West Cabarrus Wolverines (Concord, NC) basketball squad trounced the host North Iredell Raiders (Olin, NC), by a score of 74-45.

Next, the Wolverines encounter the Lake Norman Wildcats (Mooresville, NC) in a 4A Greater Metro test, on Tuesday, January 7. West Cabarrus will attempt to improve on its 5-7 season record. The Wildcats come into the test with a 11-1 record after their 70-61 non-league win over St. Michael's (Austin, TX).

The Raiders (4-7) will now prepare for their test against St. Stephens (Hickory, NC). The Indians come into the 3A Western Foothills test with a 4-7 record. In their last test, St. Stephens was routed by Maiden (Maiden, NC), 76-72, in a non-league test.
