The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Pilibos Eagles (Los Angeles, CA) and the visiting Westlake Warriors (Westlake Village, CA), observed Pilibos's basketball team knock off Westlake by a score of 62-54.
The Eagles (11-5) will now prepare for their challenge against La Habra (La Habra, CA). The Highlanders come into the non-league challenge with a 15-4 record. In their last challenge, La Habra prevailed over Fairmont Prep (Anaheim, CA), 64-49, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Warriors encounter the Calabasas Coyotes (Calabasas, CA) in a Marmonte challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Westlake will attempt to improve on its 11-7 season record.
