Oregon High School Basketball - Southwest Christian holds off St. Paul

In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Southwest Christian Wildcats basketball team scored a close 40-36 triumph over the St. Paul Buckaroos.
The Wildcats (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Damascus Christian (Damascus, OR). The Eagles go into the 1A Valley 10 contest with a 1-7 record. In their last contest, Damascus Christian was tipped by St. Paul (St. Paul, OR), 52-28, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Buckaroos confront the Nestucca Bobcats (Cloverdale, OR) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 3. St. Paul will attempt to better on its 6-2 season record. The Bobcats go into the contest with a 4-5 record after their 58-37 non-league loss to Taft (Lincoln City, OR).
