The Genoa Central Dragons (Texarkana, AR) basketball toppled the visiting Blevins Hornets (Blevins, AR), 53-42 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Dragons now possess a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bismarck for a 3A Region 7 outing on Tuesday, January 7.
The Hornets (3-15) will now prepare for their outing against Nevada (Rosston, AR). The Blue Jays enter the 1A Region 7 outing with a 3-13 record. In their last outing, Nevada was dropped by Bismarck (Bismarck, AR), 53-34, in a non-league outing.
