The Craig County Rockets (New Castle, VA) basketball were winner over the host Faith Christian Warriors (Roanoke, VA), 45-37 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Rockets now possess a 1-8 record. They play next when they host Highland for a Pioneer bout on Friday, January 3. Craig County will play a Rams team coming off a 58-24 non-league loss to Union (Mount Storm, WV). The Rams record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Faith Christian falls to 3-8 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Lynchburg HomeSchool (Lynchburg, VA) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Friday, January 3.
