The River View Black Bears basketball team scored 47 points and limited the host Danville Blue Devils to 39 in the Black Bears non-league triumph on Monday.

The Black Bears now possess a 5-6 record. They play next when they host New Lexington for a Muskingum Valley game on Saturday, January 4.

With the loss, Danville falls to 0-10 on the campaign. The Blue devils host East Knox (Howard, OH) to play the Bulldogs in a Knox Morrow game on Friday, January 3. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 4-4. East Knox won 48-42 in their recent non-league game against Genoa Christian Academy (Westerville, OH)
