New York High School Basketball - Holland Patent nips Mt. Markham

In Monday's non-league contest, the host Holland Patent Golden Knights basketball team scored a close 53-51 win over the Mt. Markham Mustangs.
The Golden Knights (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Little Falls (Little Falls, NY). The Mounties come into the non-league contest with a 6-0 record.
In their next game, the Mustangs battle the Sherburne-Earlville Marauders (Sherburne, NY) in a Section 3 Center State III contest, on Monday, January 6. Mt. Markham will attempt to better on its 3-3 season record. The Marauders enter the battle with a 0-6 record after their 47-39 non-league loss to Charlotte Valley (Davenport, NY).
