The Bella Vista Broncos basketball team scored 52 points and limited the host Monterey Trail Mustangs to 17 in the Broncos non-league triumph on Monday.

The Broncos now have a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to Ponderosa for a game on Wednesday, January 8. Bella Vista will confront a Bruins team coming off a 43-34 league loss to Woodcreek (Roseville, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 7-5.

With the loss, Monterey Trail falls to 3-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Sheldon (Sacramento, CA) to confront the Huskies in a game on Wednesday, January 8. The Huskies go into the game with a record of 13-1. Sheldon lost 60-57 in their recent non-league game against Vanden (Fairfield, CA)
