The crowd at Monday's non-league challenge between the Dearborn Pioneers (Dearborn, MI) and the host Summit Academy Dragons (Romulus, MI), witnessed Dearborn's ice hockey team defeat Summit Academy by a final score of 9-0.
The Pioneers (15-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Garden City (Garden City, MI). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 12-7 record. In their last challenge, Garden City beat Communication Media Arts (Detroit, MI), 4-1, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Dragons battle the Glenn Rockets (Westland, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 14. Summit Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
