The Brother Rice Crusaders basketball team scored 49 points and limited the host Hinsdale South Hornets to 45 in the Crusaders non-league triumph on Monday.
The Crusaders now possess a 12-1 record. They play next when they travel to Kenwood for a non-league game on Friday, January 3. Brother Rice will confront a Broncos team coming off a 42-30 non-league win over Leo (Chicago, IL). The Broncos record now stands at 8-3.
With the loss, Hinsdale South falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Proviso East (Maywood, IL) to confront the Pirates in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 14. The Pirates go into the game with a record of 0-0.
