The Schuyler Warriors (Schuyler, NE) basketball edged the visiting Clarkson/Leigh Patriots (Clarkson, NE), 45-41 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Warriors now possess a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Fairbury for a non-league bout on Friday, February 14.

With the loss, Clarkson/Leigh falls to 1-7 on the campaign. The Patriots host Battle Creek (Battle Creek, NE) to play the Braves in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 2. The Braves go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
