Rhode Island High School Basketball - Smithfield overwhelms Scituate

The Smithfield Sentinels basketball team scored 69 points and limited the visiting Scituate Spartans to 17 in the Sentinels non-league triumph on Monday.
The Sentinels now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they host East Providence for a non-league game on Friday, January 3. Smithfield will confront a Townies team coming off a 66-30 non-league win over North Providence (North Providence, RI). The Townies record now stands at 6-0.
With the loss, Scituate falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Times Squared Academy (Providence, RI) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Thursday, January 2. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 0-0.
