In Monday's non-league outing, the visiting Sierra Timberwolves soccer squad scored a tight 2-0 victory over the Riverbank Bruins.

The Timberwolves (9-1) will now prepare for their outing against East Union (Manteca, CA). The Lancers come into the Valley Oak League match with a 7-3 record. In their last match, East Union Liberty (Brentwood, CA), 2-2, in a non-league match.

The Bruins now sport a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they host River Islands for a non-league match on Friday, January 3. Riverbank will meet a Riptide team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Vanguard College Prep (Modesto, CA). The Riptide record now stands at 0-5.
